     Henry Bowman was born between 3 Apr 1876 and 1 Apr 1878 in Durham City, Durham, England.2 He was the son of Robert Bowman and Mary Ann McKenzie.
     On 5 Apr 1891 In the 1891 Census, John, Henry, Matthew & Flora are all enumerated at both their parents and thier maternal grandmothers home.3
The marriage of Henry Bowman and Isabella Greaves was registered in the Jun 1901 quarter in the Houghton Le Spring registration district.4 Henry Bowman married Isabella Greaves, daughter of George Greaves and Ann Lynn, on 19 Jun 1901 in Registry Office, Houghton, Durham, England; Witnesses were John Wm Bowmand & Catherine Greaves.5 Henry Bowman died before 24 Jul 1948.6
