     Joshua Wells Carter was born on 12 Jul 1834.2 He was baptized on 12 Jul 1834 in The Congregational Chapel, Debenham, Suffolk, England.2 He was the son of Thomas Carter and Mary Ann Wells.2 The marriage of Joshua Wells Carter and Mary Jane Metcalfe was registered in the Dec 1859 quarter in the Ipswich registration district.1 Joshua Wells Carter was buried on 25 Nov 1895 in St. Mary Magdalene, Debenham, Suffolk, England.3 Joshua's death was registered in the Dec 1895 quarter in the Bosmere registration district.4
