     Horace William Sherman married Kate Willcox.1 Horace William Sherman was born between 24 Dec 1876 and 22 Dec 1878 in Debenham, Suffolk, England.3 His birth was registered in the Dec 1878 quarter in the Hartismere registration district.2 He was the son of Henry Sherman and (?) Pipe.1,2 Horace William Sherman lived at Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England.4 He died on 1 Feb 1917 in Iraq at age 38; during WW1.5 He has no known burial place, and is commemorated on a Commonwealth War Memorial on The Basra Memorial, Baghdad, Iraq; Panel 30 and 64.1
