     Albert William was a member of; with the Debenham Town Band.3 Albert William Harvey also went by the name of Pongo.4 He was born on 4 Feb 1884.5 He was the son of William Harvey and Elizabeth Maria Marshall.2 His birth was registered in the Mar 1884 quarter in the Bosmere registration district.6 Albert William Harvey was baptized on 4 May 1884 in St. Mary Magdalene, Debenham, Suffolk, England.1 As of 15 Oct 1938, Albert William Harvey and Ellen Elizabeth Marshall lived at 7 Chapel Row, Debenham, Suffolk, England.7 As of 7 May 1945, Albert William Harvey and Ellen Elizabeth Marshall lived at 7 Chapel Row, Debenham, Suffolk, England.8 Albert's death was registered in the Jun 1973 quarter in the Gipping registration district.5

However I am inclined to believe that, as William did not return, it is more likely that it belonged to Albert.4
  • In 1919 Albert was awarded the British War Medal.11
