     Robert Hurrell was born between 18 Mar 1829 and 16 Mar 1831 in Debenham, Suffolk, England.1
     On 20 Dec 1851 Convict number: 35285. Departed Queenstownon the second voyage of the "Rodney" on 24th September, 1851 and arrived in Van Diemans Land on 20th December, 1851.2

Criminal History

  • Robert Hurrell was brought before the Magistrates on 9 Jan 1846 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. The trial was reported as convicted of "Larceny" and sentenced to 1 month imprisonment.3
  • He was brought before the Magistrates on 17 Mar 1848 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. The trial was reported as sentenced to be transported for 7 years for "Larceny before convd of Felony".1
