     George Artiss was born between 3 Apr 1864 and 1 Apr 1866 in Thorndon, Suffolk, England.2 He married Charlotte Whiting between 3 Apr 1887 and 1 Apr 1889.2 The marriage of George Artiss and Charlotte Whiting was registered in the Sep 1887 quarter in the Plomesgate registration district.3 As of 18 Nov 1916, George Artiss and Charlotte Whiting lived at Bedingfield, Eye, Suffolk, England.4 As of 15 Aug 1917, George Artiss and Charlotte Whiting lived at Crows Hall Cottages, Debenham, Suffolk, England.1 George Artiss died before 29 Sep 1939; Before 1939 Register was taken.5
