     John Wythe married Elizabeth Carter; In the 1881 Census John Wythe and Betsey (Elizabeth) Carter are described as married, however, all the other census's show Elizabeth Carter as being single. There is no evidence to show that they married.3 John Wythe was born between 31 Mar 1813 and 29 Mar 1815 in Debenham, Suffolk, England.4 He was baptized on 27 Sep 1814 in St. Mary Magdalene, Debenham, Suffolk, England.2 He was the son of John Wythe and Maria Tydeman.1,2 John Wythe married Elizabeth Summers, daughter of John Summers and Maria Harvey, on 8 May 1838 in St. Mary Magdalene, Debenham, Suffolk, England.5 The marriage of John Wythe and Elizabeth Summers was registered in the Jun 1838 quarter in the Bosmere registration district.6 John Wythe was born between 8 Apr 1841 and 6 Apr 1843 in Debenham, Suffolk, England.7 As of 1844, John Wythe lived at The Angel, Debenham, Suffolk, England.8 As of 1855, John Wythe lived at The Angel, Debenham, Suffolk, England.9 He was buried on 12 Jul 1900 in St. Mary Magdalene, Debenham, Suffolk, England.10 John's death was registered in the Sep 1900 quarter in the Bosmere registration district.11
