     James Bedingfield was born on 12 Sep 1809 in Ditchingham, Norfolk, England.3 He was the son of John James Bedingfield and Sarah Peircey.2 James Bedingfield was baptized on 22 Sep 1809 in Ditchingham, Norfolk, England; Privately Baptised.4,2 He was baptized on 13 May 1811; James Bedingfield son of John James and Sarah his wife was fully received into the Church.2 He was educated on 7 Jun 1827; Adm. pens. (age 18) at TRINITY, June 7, 1827. 4th s. of John James (next). B. Sept. 12, 1809, at Ditchingham, Norfolk. School, Eton. Matric. Michs. 1827, as Bedingfeld; B.A. 1831. Ord. deacon (Norwich) June 2, 1833; priest, Oct. 6, 1833, as Bedingfeld, J. V. and R. of Bedingfield, Suffolk, 1833-78. Rural Dean. J.P. V. of Debenham, 1840. Domestic Chaplain to Lord Henniker, whose daughter, Frances, he married July 23, 1839. Died 1878. (Burke, L.G., ed. 1925.)3 He married Frances Henniker-Major on 23 Jul 1839.5 The marriage of James Bedingfield and Frances Henniker-Major was registered in the Sep 1839 quarter in the St. George Hanover Square Registration District registration district.6 James Bedingfield died on 22 Aug 1878 in Bedingfield, Suffolk, England, at age 68.1 He was buried on 28 Aug 1878 in St. Mary, Bedingfield, Suffolk, England.7 His estate was probated on 22 Nov 1878 in Ipswich, Suffolk, England; Personal Estate under £2,000.1
